Our Services

Royal Mail 48 - This is a fully tracked service that no longer requires a signature upon delivery. If a mobile number is provided at the checkout, a tracking number will be sent via text message once your parcel is on it's way. Unless a safe place option is specified, a calling card will be left and you will need to arrange a re-delivery or collection from your local post office.

Express Courier - Our chosen courier for the UK is DHL; all parcels sent with the courier are fully tracked and require a signature upon delivery unless a safeplace option is specified. Unless you have specified otherwise, parcels sent with the courier will be left with a neighbour if there is no one at the designated delivery address to sign for the parcel.
A tracking number will be provided either via Email or Text message. Should you live in a property that is notoriously difficult to find, please provide detailed delivery instructions or What3Words in the designated space at the checkout.

For parcels sent internationally, we use DHL Express. All international deliveries require a signature unless a safe place option is specified.

We do also offer a number of additional services including a designated day of delivery, delivery before a certain time and weekend delivery. Please contact us directly to get a quote for these services.


Delivery Options and Charges

Express deliveries can only be despatched by us for delivery the following day when ordered during our working week which is Monday to Friday. If delivery is required on a Saturday, please call us so we can advise on the additional cost.  All orders for express delivery need to be ordered by 12 noon on the preceeding day.  All orders made over the weekend will be despatched on our return on Monday and delivered on Tuesday if requesting a express delivery.  

If your order is very urgent, please call us on 01823 681076 as this can hasten the order and we can sometimes get it fitted in after 12 noon if there is time to pack and process before the courier arrives.

Northern Ireland and The Channel Islands (Jersey and Guernsey)

To ensure the correct delivery charge is applied at the checkout The Republic of Ireland, Jersey or Guernsey must be inputted as the chosen country for the delivery address. Northern Ireland falls under United Kingdom. 

Please be aware these prices are subject to change. In some cases, heavy or large orders may incur a shipping surcharge; we will contact you by email if this is the case. Should you not wish to pay the shipping surcharge, your order will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded.

Liquids, aerosols and gels

For security reasons relating to international air transport, we are unable to deliver liquids, aerosols and gels outside of mainland UK.  If you would like to purchase and have any of these items sent overseas than you will need to arrange and pay for a collection by a courier who uses sea transport.

Delivery Address Options

When placing an order you can choose to either have your goods delivered to your home address or an alternative delivery address. If you do not already have an alternative delivery address on your account, you can enter this at the time of placing a new order. Please make sure you provide us with a delivery address where someone will be available to accept it as many of our parcels either require a signature upon delivery or simply won't fit through your letterbox. Please note that Clippersharp cannot be held responsible where a confirmed order has incorrect delivery information. If the conformation email for the order is incorrect, please call us immediately. 
All Southern Ireland addresses must have a Eircode.

Dispatch Times

Unless you have requested a next day delivery, we aim to dispatch your goods within 24-48 hours of the receipt of the order.  Occasionally at exceptionally busy times this may take a little longer. You will be noted by email or telephone if it is anticipated the delivery will take longer than our stated time.  If you have any questions about the delivery of your order, please call 01823 681076.

If you are not entirely happy with the delivery received or the items received don’t match the items listed on your delivery invoice or dispatch email, you must contact Clippersharp immediately. 

Undelivered Items

For undelivered goods that have been dispatched, we will of course provide a replacement or full refund, providing the issue has been bought to our attention within 14 calendar days of the proposed day of receipt. This will be subject to an investigation by the delivery company which must conclude that the parcel is indeed missing (this can take up to 72 hours).

Blade Sharpening

If you are ordering sharpening services, please print a copy of your e-mail order receipt and enclose with the blades you send to us to be sharpened, so we know who has sent them to us. If this is not possible for whatever reason, please include your Order Number, clearly labelled, with your blades.


OUR GUARANTEE AND RETURNS POLICY

For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the product. It must be returned in its original condition and packaging, within 14 days of purchase. We will exchange the item (for which postage must be paid) or provide you with a full refund or credit note. Faulty goods must be returned to us within 14 days for a full refund or exchange, after which a replacement may be offered. Please ask your Post Office for a Proof of Posting Certificate. This will ensure that you will receive your exchange or refund in the event of your goods being mislaid in the post.
