I tried the Smart Manes tool in our DIY yard of 14 horses and started with the most notorious head case who hated any mane pulling. Previously we had tried a thinning/cutting tool which worked but left very difficult regrowth and bushy bases to the mane, very difficult to plait. Smart Manes was fantastic, the mare did not even know her mane was being pulled and is now a much better turnout! Hi,
Just wanted to thank you for the excellent quick delivery of an excellent product( smart tails trimmer). I've used it on my horse who doesn't take kindly to being pulled & brilliant results. I'll never pull a tail in the traditional way again,just as you say in your advert,the trimmer does just as good a job in a fraction of the time. There are only three of us liveries at our yard & we're all so impressed we're going to share it & buy replacement blades as & when required, & I will definately be recommending it to other horse owning friends.

I highly recommend this awesome product. You won’t believe how fast and easy they are to use and it really look like the real thing. My younger stallion who hates his tail being pulled just stood there and didnt even move and inch. In fact he actually held his tail up as if he was enjoying it. Brilliant on thick manes too just comb from underneath and its as easy as that. I’ve been doing it the hard way for years but wont be ever again. Tried and tested Brilliant is all I can say. Im about to try Smart Coat to so will let you all know.

Just to say how fantastic the "Smart Tails" tool is - I recieved it yesterday and within 20 mins of starting on my horse that had been turned away for three months she was transformed with a new sleek tail and mane. I will start on the warmblood tonight who's 1/8 Conermara has 'come out' in her mane! Later I then tackled the border terriers and removed a carrier bag of hair from the pair without any of the pain of stripping. Super tool and I will be getting one for all my friends too. I thought it would be just another tool that thins in a rather brutal way but Smart Tails is easy to use and leaves a very natural finish. Well done to you! Mrs Liz Fraser-Hitch

Hi,
I have just been loaned the 'smart tail' by a friend of mine to use on my top horse Father Jerry who is not particularly keen on having his tail pulled - and i can never get it looking great - and having used it I felt ihad to write to say how great it is - his tail looks better than it ever has done and it was painless and stress free for both him and I! I thoroughly recommend this product - it took me no time at all and every tack tray should have one.

Hi, Having seen your advert in Horse and Hound I called and ordered a Smart Tail. Your operative advised me to buy a coarse one as my horse's tail had never been pulled, due to his (understandable) complete objection. Being 18 hands I could do little to persuade him. My Smart Tail arrived the next day after ordering, and following the guidance I used it on my horse's tail first. He fell asleep! I then used it to thin his already pulled mane and even managed to tidy his forelock, which was another area he normally took objection to. Within 1 hour, (over 2 days as advised) I have achieved what I had been trying to do in 3 years. So a big thank you for providing the most useful, inexpensive horse item I have bought in the last 10 years. It does exactly what it says and I can use it again and again. Heather Klimczak.

Dear Clipper Sharp, I had to email you again and tell you again how good your Smart Tails are. I went to my first BD outing since 'pulling' my mares tail.
Whilst I walked her off a lady stopped us, she said she had to stop us and tell us what a superb pulled tail my mare has, she said it was the best pulled tail she had seen in a long long time! I confessed my secret and told her to look you up.
I was really impressed as it is the first tail I have pulled either traditionally or with a smart tails.

My smart tail gizmo arrived safely this morning, it was the 20 blade fine one I purchased. I must say how utterly brilliant it is.. Ive a native that has an unruly mane and it sorted that out in no time! I also did fetlocks with it, and what a finish! Two tails also were done and gave a lovely natural appearance. None of these horrible scissor lines to be seen
anywhere. TOTALLY BRILLIANT!!!!! Thanks so much, not often one can say they would pay double for a product, but this works and is amazing! Solo comb, eat yer heart out! Cheers

Good morning, I just wanted to say how pleased I am with my smart tails groomer, it arrived yesterday after only ordering it the day before (excellent service) I used it on my very hairy donkey last night and ended up with over a carrier bag full of hair from her and I haven't finished grooming her yet (still have her tummy and legs to do!) absolutely brilliant product - wish I'd had one last year for her. Thank you very much for sharpening and returning my clipper blades so quickly (in less than a week) and for the fantastic product, Smart Tails. My trainer suggested it as I am a bit rubbish at pulling tails but it helps if the horses are looking smart in the dressage arena. I tidied all of my three horses' tails in no time, with no fuss - amazing. This weekend I also tried Smart Tails on my dog, a German Spitz - a long haired breed with a triple coat - who does not know he is a lap dog but spends all his time in the mud. I have struggled with his coat for nine years, using every product out there and having to resort to sedatives and muzzles to get anything done. For the first time ever I have managed to get all the tangles and knots out without arguments and without having to use scissors. THANK YOU!!!!

I just wanted to say how extremely impressed I am with my Smart Mane tool. It is fantastic and without doubt my best equine purchase to date! My horse is terrified of mane pulling, dangerously rearing every time I attempted it. The only thing I could do to keep it tidy was to cut it, while it was short it was getting thicker and thicker resulting in huge, untidy plaits. It took me 4 minutes to do his mane with the Smart Mane and he looks fantastic, a tidy, thinner mane that looks really neat and plait-able! Thank you, I'd recommend this to anyone.

Hi, bought a hand held coat stripper from your website, which was delivered within two days, very pleased, thank you. Just want you to know I have old cushings effected pony, who had suffered a heavy matted coat every summer, well, one hour with our new tool he looked 15 years younger and when we let him go after grooming session promptly bucked and happily rolled in the field, so obviously pleased to be rid of the heavy coat he had to carry. Inspired, we set to the long haird ginger cat, who for the first time in years, looked half the size he usually is and will no doubt be happy this summer! Can't thank you enough for this product!
