Lister Fusion vs. Lister Laser 2
The Lister Laser 2 earned a reputation as a true workhorse—powerful enough to glide through the toughest coats with ease. But as with any tool, there was always room for refinement.
Enter the Lister Fusion: the next generation of clipping innovation. Weighing 100g less than the Laser 2 and boasting a sleek, modern design, the Fusion doesn’t just look better—it performs better.

Dual-Speed Functionality: Unlike the single-speed Laser 2, the Fusion offers two speeds for greater versatility across different coats and conditions.

Cooler Blades: Engineered so that the blade surface runs up to 10° cooler than the Laser 2, keeping animals more comfortable during clipping sessions.

When developing the Fusion, Lister focused on comfort—for both horse and handler. Its double-fan ventilation system maximises airflow to the motor, keeping the clipper cooler for longer, a big improvement on the Laser’s ventilated head which had a tendency to heat up quickly.
Another smart upgrade is the Snap-On washable filter, making cleaning and maintenance quick and simple—far easier than the Laser 2’s older screw-on filter design.
