The Heiniger Saphir is manufactured by Heiniger in Switzerland who are well-renowned manufacturers of horse and sheep clippers.
The quality is, without doubt, excellent and the power is truly amazing for a cordless pet clipper. It has a slim grip hand-piece and stays cool even when clipping for long periods. Takes all A5 type snap-on blades. It will clip for 120 minutes on each battery with a recharge time of 45 mins. It's is a very quiet lightweight clipper which has minimal vibration which makes it perfect for young/nervous animals. Suitable for dog grooming, light duty clipping of horses and veterinary use.

The Heiniger Saphir clipper is a VERY quiet lightweight clipper which has minimal vibration and is exceptionally smooth running.

Ideally suited for young/difficult horses and also for veterinary and dog grooming use as it takes the A5 snap on blade system. There is a wide blade available which is good for clipping larger areas and body clips on horses. Supplied with 2 Lithium-ion batteries, each battery will clip for 120 minutes and recharges in 45 minutes.

In field trials this clipper has proved to be exceptionally powerful for its type and is built to a high spec.

Comes with : Clipper , Charger , TWO batteries for continuous clipping and a No.10 blade High quality, precision Swiss engineering. Lightweight and perfectly balanced in the hand. Quiet and powerful 35W permanent magnet motor. High performance battery with the latest lithium ionic technology. More than 50 minutes clipping per charge but less than 45 minutes charging time. Please make sure the machine is running when you fit the snap on blades which will mean the blades locate and sit properly.

Size: The handpiece measures 21cm from the tip of the blade to the base of the clipper with the main grip point measuring 13cm in circumference.
